We are the Ottawa Public Library Foundation
The Ottawa Public Library Foundation was established in 2002 as the major fundraising arm of the Ottawa Public Library.
Our registered charity business number is 864511662RR0001.
Funds raised are used to enhance the collections, programs and services, and community places and spaces of the Ottawa Public Library, beyond what is supported by municipal funding.
Working cooperatively with the Library and the Friends of the Ottawa Public Library Association, the OPL Foundation helps the Library achieve a level of service that would not otherwise be possible. Donating to the Ottawa Public Library Foundation is a way for people who believe in the power of public libraries to change lives, to help keep our libraries strong.
